Did you know...
*Many different types of birds are represented in Egyptian art.

*In Egyptian mythology, the Sky God, Horus, appeared as a falcon.

Look for...
*Two oval designs or cartouches (names in Egyptian hieroglyphs are enclosed in ovals) in front of each bird.

*The cartouche on the left is the name of King Amenhotep I.

*The cartouche on the right is the name of Osiris, the God of the Dead.

*The eyes that represent the eyes of Horus the Sky God.
