Student Guide Program
CMA Student Guides design tours demonstrating how works of art are relevant to how we see, how we think, and how we live. Guides will engage with staff at every level of the museum as they are trained in the design and delivery of 30-minute tours of the CMA’s collections. Beginning with a two-day summer training intensive, guides commit to a full academic year of biweekly on-site trainings as well as independent assignments. The program includes travel to other local and regional cultural institutions. Each spring guides are required to deliver no less than eight public tours or gallery experiences highlighting objects they have selected. Positions can be renewed annually.
The Cleveland Museum of Art is an equal opportunity employer.
