Curatorial Staff

The museum’s Contemporary Art department seeks applications for the position of Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art. Working under the direction of the Associate Curator of Contemporary Art, the individual who is appointed to this position will assist in the stewardship, programming and development of the museum’s important holdings in this field.

Protection Services

The Cleveland Museum of Art seeks a 3rd shift Security Supervisor to join its Protection Services staff. The Security Supervisor supervises and coordinates the activities of the museum’s security force to provide protection and security of the collection, facility, staff, patrons and visitors to ensure excellence in public relations.

Development

The museum’s Development department seeks qualified candidates to fill its Donor Records Coordinator position. The Donor Records Coordinator processes all charitable donations to the museum: membership, annual fund, corporate, capital campaign, and others. S/he generates and disseminates appropriate thank you letters, membership cards, and tax receipts; maintains the museum’s Central Donor Filing system as well as the donor database, Enterprise; responds to internal and external requests for information and resolves issues in a professional and timely manner.

Visitor Experience

The museum seeks qualified Sales Associates to supplement its in-house Box Office operation. Duties include processing ticket orders and museum memberships in person or by phone through a computerized ticketing office. Fast paced customer service environment. Excellent communication and inter-personal skills required. Computer proficiency and ticket selling experience desired. This is a part-time temporary position available now through July 2013.

Protection Services

The museum’s Protection Services department has part-time opportunities for customer service oriented Gallery Guards.  The Gallery Guard provides assistance and simple directions to visitors as well as protecting the Museum’s collection, staff and visitors against fire, theft and accidents.  A high school diploma and a strong customer service background is required.  Flexible schedules are available including evenings and weekends.
