This translucent travertine vessel features a shallow bowl supported by a flared pedestal. Two sharp horizontal ribs encircle the off-white stone, dappled with dark veining and amber spots. A jagged, V-shaped notch interrupts the rim, trailing a fine crack toward the base. While the basin is polished smooth, the foot's bottom is rough-hewn and uneven, grounding this luminous object against a soft gray background.
