A scalloped, oval gilt box features a white jade medallion set into the lid, carved in relief with a coiled dragon. Against the gold background, densely engraved scrolling floral patterns are accented by small green, red, and blue enamel flowers. A horizontal seam separates the lid from the base. The lobed sides repeat these floral motifs, creating a dense, ornate pattern across the vessel's entire golden exterior.
