A silver gilt brooch features a central teardrop-shaped diamond surrounded by symmetrical openwork set with red rubies and green emeralds. White pearls and green beads crown the top edge on slender metal points. A row of teardrop-shaped pendants hangs from the base, each inset with a colored gem. Clusters of pearls and green beads dangle from each pendant, forming a delicate fringe at the bottom of the ornament.
