Description

Silver finger-ringers were gifted or worn by both Omani men and women in a Zār ceremony to ward off evil.
A tarnished silver ring, a circular band supporting an ornate square structure, features sphere clusters projecting from a textured base. The base sits on a platform with larger clusters at its corners. Centered on top, vertical bars form a cage-like dome rising to a small cap. Indentations appear throughout the silver's surface, lending an aged appearance to the architectural design.
