A cylindrical spruce root basket consists of two nested sections. The upper section is solid brown with a fine, ribbed texture. On the lower section, interlocking geometric patterns in muted red, yellow, and dark brown form large, stepped crosses. These intricate designs are bounded by horizontal bands. The vertical vessel displays a tight, uniform weave throughout, transitioning from the plain upper half to the highly detailed motifs covering the base.
