A dark brown wood musical instrument has a pear-shaped body and a long, narrow neck. Four large tuning pegs extend horizontally from a pointed head. Four light strings stretch over raised frets to a wide bridge near the base. Two small, crescent-shaped openings flank the strings on the wooden face. The dark wood shows a subtle vertical grain along its rounded, teardrop form.
