A wooden instrument tapers toward the base, its warm brown surface wrapped in vertical strings. A tall, carved handle extends from the top center, rising above a row of small wooden tuning pegs. Two narrow, vertical slots are cut into the upper body. Faint, multicolored floral markings trail down the lower half, where small, dark bridge pieces lift the strings away from the wood.
