A standing wood instrument features an hourglass resonator covered in taut, tan parchment. Four main strings stretch across a small bone bridge, ascending a wide neck detailed with dark teardrop-shaped inlays. The head is crowned by a cluster of tuning pegs, while four large, bulbous pegs extend horizontally from the sides. Along the left edge, a dense row of smaller pegs descends, their dark forms contrasting sharply with the warm, polished wood body.
