A stringed instrument of reddish-brown wood stands upright. Its tapered neck is accented by white circular inlays and six small side pegs. At the peak, a rectangular headstock holds two mirrored panels between three bulbous tuning pegs. Textured yellowish-brown parchment wraps the waisted lower body. Thin copper strings run the length of the dark wood, meeting at a small bridge near the base. The form balances angular carvings with organic, skin-covered curves.
