A matte red wooden bow has a slender, slightly curved rod that tapers into a carved handle on the left. Nearby, a dark, wedge-shaped piece is lashed to the rod with crisscrossing tan and red cords. A dense bundle of dark horsehair stretches from this wedge to the opposite tip, where it is secured by small cord bindings.
