A tsuba, an oval iron sword guard, displays a dark, pitted surface pierced by two vertical cutouts. A copper inlay lines the base of the central opening. On the right, a raised figure shows wide eyes and bared teeth. A curved form sweeps across the upper portion, accompanied by three gold-colored shapes near the edge. The piece balances rough textures with detailed metallic highlights and expressive relief.
