A circular sword guard is a dark-brown, pitted iron disc. Three cutouts pierce the metal: a central slit, an oval, and a jagged opening. At the top right, a textured flower with a gold center is inset. On the bottom edge, gold accents depict blades of grass and a rounded bud. The metal surface appears worn and unevenly oxidized, organic shapes and textured patterns framing the openings across the disc.
