A circular iron sword guard, featuring a dark, pitted surface, is centered by a tapered vertical opening. Encased in a solid oval, four pointed protrusions extend toward the outer ring. Symmetrical openwork sections on the left and right display jagged, thorn-like silhouettes pointing inward. The material exhibits heavy oxidation and an uneven texture, emphasizing the weathered, dark brown finish of the entire disk.
