A circular iron tsuba, a sword guard, features a dark, weathered disk with a central, tapered vertical opening. The surface is heavily pitted with dark brown tones and reddish-brown oxidation. Within a faint square border, shallow-carved curling lines form repetitive patterns. The texture is rough across the entire surface, where centuries of wear have softened the once-sharp decorative details.
