An oval iron sword guard features a dark, weathered surface with a central vertical opening. A snarling lion in raised carving arches across the top, its body curving around the middle. Fine gold lines accent its back and circular motifs. To the left and right, two smaller oval openings are filled with smooth material. At the base, stylized swirling patterns merge with the lion's mane, providing a thick, organic texture.
