A circular iron sword guard, dark and pitted, features a vertical triangular opening flanked by two kidney-shaped holes. In the upper right, a carved figure with gold-accented eyes peers over a curved, recessed ridge. Along the bottom edge, a small figure crouches beneath a broad, textured hat. The surface is a dark brown, tarnished metal, with organic shapes and patterns worn by age, transitioning from flat expanses to detailed, relief carvings.
