A circular sword guard is made of dark, pitted iron. A tall, wedge-shaped opening centers the disk, flanked by an oval hole and two stylized cutouts. Yellow brass inlays depict five-petaled flowers at the top and bottom. Thin brass lines and incisions create geometric angles and layered horizontal patterns across the surface. These delicate motifs contrast with the heavy metal, balancing golden floral details with sharp, linear engravings.
