A four-lobed iron sword guard with a scalloped edge presents a dark, pitted surface. Centered is a vertical, tapered opening bordered by copper-colored metal. This is flanked by kidney-shaped openings filled with a textured, pebbly, silvery-white material. Faint circular designs resembling coins with impressed characters are scattered across the weathered face. The dark-brown patina and rough texture define the piece's aged, metallic composition.
