An iron sword guard features a circular frame with an openwork design. In the center sits a large, vertical opening for a blade. Stylized vines with rounded clusters branch outward toward the rim, while notched leaves point to the left and right. Thin horizontal bars cross the upper and lower sections. The dark, brownish-black metal has a rough, pitted texture across its entire surface.
