A circular iron sword guard, with a dark, pitted surface, features three central openings: a tall, tapered vertical slit flanked by a trefoil shape on the left and an oval on the right. Clusters of small, five-petaled brass flowers are inlaid across the upper and lower sections. Thin brass lines form angular, arrow-like marks near the top and bottom. The iron displays a rough, dark-brown and black texture throughout.
