A tsuba, a circular iron sword guard, features a weathered, dark-brown surface with a pitted texture. An elongated vertical opening pierces the center, flanked on the left by a smaller rounded hole. Three fan-shaped designs are inlaid at the top right, bottom right, and bottom left edges. Delicate golden bird-like shapes and floral motifs decorate these fans, their brightness contrasting with the disc's rugged, oxidized patina.
