A statuette glazed in light turquoise faience depicts Nefertem as a slender man standing atop a small lion. He wears a short, pleated kilt and a tall headdress with a lotus base and two upright feathers. A narrow beard extends from his chin, and a striated wig frames his face. A horizontal break divides his legs, a small hole marks his midsection, and his left leg strides forward with arms at his sides.
