A horizontally oriented zinc etching on a dark gray plate depicts fishermen in small rowboats. In the foreground, one figure stands and another sits in a boat; to the left, a man stands in another vessel facing right. Additional figures and a sailboat fill the middle ground against a faint sky. Fine, sketchy lines compose the scene, which is marked by several long, diagonal scratches that indicate the plate has been cancelled.
