A vertically rectangular white linen sampler features intricate silk embroidery. The upper portion remains mostly plain with a faint brown stain. Below, a crown sits above a green leafy emblem beside a block of stylized flowers. Rows of alphabets and numbers in muted pink, blue, and yellow threads fill the center, including the date 1747. Horizontal bands of repeating floral and geometric patterns finish the bottom edge.
