An octagonal print in black ink with fine, grainy lines depicts a landscape. In the foreground, deer stand in tall grass at the water's edge, one leaning down to drink. Dense, splotchy shrubbery and spindly bare trees line the left bank. In the center, delicate hatching creates a bright, hazy distance. Small dabs in the upper left corner suggest a flock of birds flying across the sky.
