A gray limestone sculpture depicts a bald man's head from the neck up, looking at us. He has wide-set eyes with carved pupils, a straight nose with a damaged tip, and narrow lips pressed together. A shallow horizontal groove marks his forehead above a fleshy double chin. The pitted stone surface is mottled with light spots, ending in a jagged, broken edge at the neck.
