A small rectangular wood block features a front face deeply carved with a stylized character, now encrusted with dark, textured ink residue. This central relief, composed of a thick vertical stroke and tapering horizontal bars, contrasts against the block's otherwise smooth, warm brown grain. While the front face appears rugged and weathered, the top and side remain uncarved, showcasing the wood's organic patterns and stark, geometric form.
