A horizontally oriented rectangular copper plate in reddish-brown tones displays an etched man standing on a log, right of center. He holds a long pole, facing right above fine horizontal lines suggesting water. A vertical line and two large diagonal lines forming an X-shape are etched across the entire composition. Faint script appears in the upper left corner. The metallic surface exhibits varied patinas, textures, and darker mottled areas throughout.
