A vertically oriented, carved woodblock depicts an industrial scene in dark brown and pale tan. Raised, ink-stained surfaces form blocky buildings on our left and a bridge on our right. Broad, curving gouge marks sweep through the center, suggesting smoke or sky. The lower section features short, horizontal textures. The dark wood grain of elevated shapes contrasts with the light tan wood revealed by deep, recessed carvings.
