A bone awl features a thick, cylindrical cream-colored handle transitioning into a long, tapering point. A spiral groove winds around the handle's surface, and a thin, braided brown cord is tied near the top, forming a small loop to the right. Below the handle, the bone narrows sharply into a slender, irregular spike ending in a sharp tip. The entire piece exhibits a smooth, weathered appearance.
