Description

CMA Bulletin, December 1930
A wide, open-mouthed basketry bowl slopes down from a circular rim to a narrow, flat base. Woven from warm tan fibers, the vessel is decorated with dark brown geometric motifs. A pair of parallel lines forms a stepped zigzag across the midsection, with a thinner zigzag wrapping around the base. A separate geometric block sits near the upper rim, all set against a backdrop of fine, horizontal coiled ridges.
