A Nile silt ware vessel takes a rounded shape, tapering to a narrow base and widening to a flared rim. Muted orange clay is layered with horizontal bands of light blue and dark lines. Two blue bands frame rows of upward-pointing orange triangles. The matte surface, grainy with small pits and wear, catches light along its textured rim. These geometric patterns contrast with the vessel's raw, unpainted clay base.
