A vertically long strip of cream linen needle lace is worked with primarily scrolling vines and circular floral patterns. Thick, raised outlines provide a sculpted texture to these organic shapes, interconnected by a delicate web of threads. Curving leaves sweep from the center toward the edges, finished with a border of small, looped trim. The intricate repeating design fills the entire surface with an ornate, three-dimensional effect.
