A horizontally long, off-white piece of linen bobbin lace is worked with repeating U-shaped enclosures containing floral vases. Intricate interlocking vines, blossoms, and leaves fill the spaces between, joined by a delicate hexagonal net ground. A straight border runs along the bottom, while the top and sides have jagged, torn edges. Dense stitching creates varying opacities within the floral patterns, contrasted by the translucent openwork textures of the surrounding mesh.
