An irregular oval wood carving is shaped like a shallow basin. The polished, deep brown surface transitions from a wide, rounded rim into a recessed center where a faint, wide letter M is incised. Small nicks and areas of wear mark the inner edge furthest from view, while the exterior displays a smooth, lustrous finish. The dark wood shows subtle, warm undertones throughout its heavy, grounded form.
