A smooth, cream-colored ivory sculpture depicts a bald man kneeling with a joyful, smiling expression and head tilted. To our left, he holds a tall, ridged cylinder. To our right, he grasps a wide-bristled brush. A small square box and a carved stump with a radial design sit on the ground before him. Dark brown stains highlight the textured grooves of his clothing and surrounding objects.
