Description

Credit line: John D. Rockefeller General Education Board Grant II
A warm, golden-brown wood carving of a train car coupler features a long, semi-cylindrical form with a rounded top and flat underside. Fine cracks and a subtle wood grain follow the length of the beam. Both ends taper slightly, terminating in rounded, slanted faces. The object sits horizontally on a neutral gray surface, angling away from the viewer toward the right.
