A horizontally long piece of off-white linen lace edging features a fine mesh ground punctuated by a repeating pattern of small, paired diagonal openings. Below, a decorative border consists of a continuous row of uniform scallops, each containing a circular motif with a grid-like interior. The narrow strip is frayed at its left and right ends.
