An amulet glazed in light blue faience depicts the deity Taweret standing upright on a small rectangular base. The figure features a large, rounded snout and a protruding belly with hands resting at its sides. A wide tail with notched edges extends down the back. The surface is glossy with scattered dark pitting and brown spots. This protective figure represents a hybrid of a hippopotamus and a crocodile.
