A square piece of fine white lace net is embroidered with white cotton. A wide border features repeating circular patterns of swirling, leaf-like shapes. Within, rows of small, evenly spaced flowers decorate the translucent field. Larger, vase-like floral motifs occupy each of the four inner corners. The edges of the thin fabric appear slightly frayed and uneven, framing a delicate, symmetrical composition of machine-made net and embroidery.
