A horizontally long bobbin lace edging features muted, metallic gray-brown silk and metallic threads woven into a repeating pattern. A fine openwork net runs along the straight top edge, while vertical, tapering oval shapes sit above larger, pointed leaf-like forms that create a scalloped lower border. Intricate, interlocking threads define a rhythmic composition of delicate voids and glinting metallic textures across the length of the textile, with fraying visible on the left.
