A square embroidery depicts a garden scene with small figures with light skin tones flanking a central fruiting tree and coiled snake. Muted earth tones color the landscape populated by deer, sheep, and birds. Above, rows of biblical text are flanked by tall pillars and winged figures. An inscription at the bottom identifies the maker, Elizabeth Crowthers, and the date 1810, enclosed by a floral border and green edging.
