A vertically oriented linen textile features a red and blue leaf border framing rectangular blocks of stitched text. The name 'Eliza P. Hulse' appears in bold red letters above the date '1836'. In the lower section, three plant motifs—a pomegranate, an orange tree, and a lush green weeping willow—stand in a row. Small red and beige birds and two crowns fill the spaces between the trees against the ivory-colored ground.
