An embroidered sampler depicts a vertical arrangement of alphabets and numbers above stylized motifs. Two floral wreaths dated 1817 flank a black double-headed eagle and figures carrying large grapes. Below, a large, multicolored parrot perches above a blue, two-story house. To the right, a snake coils around a tree between two figures. Small birds, a squirrel, and rabbits line the bottom edge among miniature trees, flowers, and furniture.
