A horizontal rectangular silk and linen sampler on off-white fabric features rows of alphabets and numerals in muted red, blue, green, and yellow threads. Characters increase in scale toward the bottom, displaying diverse block and outline styles. The lower section contains larger geometric forms, floral motifs, and a small ship toward the right. Faint brown staining is visible along the textile's right edge.
