A square silk on linen embroidery features a central rectangular panel containing text and the date 1846, framed by tiny red flowers. This is surrounded by stylized figures, flowering vines, and potted plants in red, yellow, and blue on a beige background. A wide border of interlocking yellow and blue geometric diamonds runs along the edges. Tassels in red, white, gray, and beige hang from each corner.
