A horizontally long strip of cream-colored linen needle lace features repeating patterns of winding vines and stylized flowers. The lower section is defined by semi-circular shapes filled with dense, star-patterned grids, underscored by a delicate scalloped edge of tiny blossoms. The design alternates between an airy open mesh background and thicker, raised threadwork motifs. The right end appears frayed, revealing fine linen fibers against a starkly contrasting black background.
